MANDOLIN

I’ve had a handful of students on the mandolin, and most of them want to learn bluegrass mandolin. The book, Bluegrass Mandolin, by Jack Tottle is a wonderful book for learning tunes and techniques. A great source of mandolin music of all kinds is Mel bay. In fact, they have a page on their website dedicated to the mandolin called Mandolin Sessions. Many great texts for mandolinists of all levels and styles, including ones for the classical mandolinist, can be found here as well. Free mandolin music can be found on the Free Sheet Music Directory.
